Aleck Smart, checking in. A report of us three is in order as it is Saturday.
Vanderdecken12
is still in good health. No sign of invincibility wavering. No sign of physical or mental degradation of any kind. Seems to be thoroughly enjoying his vacation. He has devoted himself to looking up news sources for at least one hour every day, centering on recent disasters such as the trauma in Haiti. He never speaks of what he finds, however.
Ben Simmons
does not seem as depressed as I had thought he would be. I believe he has accepted that helping Vanderdecken12 enjoy his last days is the best thing he can do. There are moments where he attempts to urge Vanderdecken12 to get going in the morning, presumably in an effort to not waste any time.
Myself
I have been struggling to keep in shape. Not to say I haven't succeeded; I have. Although I feel physically and mentally unchallenged in this current routine, I know that I am helping a hero enjoy his last days. He's has my respect. He's earned that much.
