ISS
Don't know why I didn't think of it, but Ben did, and it was brilliant. ISS stands for "International Space Station" and it was one of the few "unnecessary projects" Gregory kept active. It's relatively simple to calculate the trajectory and location, well, at least it is for math and computer geniuses like Ben. So thirty six hours after we parachuted out of the sky, we made a blind shot into space, and nailed it. We landed right inside the safety of the space station, but Bob did not. It took him one minute to go through after us. But that one minute was crucial. When he went through, he discovered nothing but empty space, and he, without the momentum of the space station, was left behind, floating in the endless vacuum of space. Alive? Maybe. But a threat? Most definitely not.

Aha! I would not have thought of that. Poor Bob.
