Leaving the City
As we left the city heading East, early in the morning (about 10 hours ago) Aleck and I in an open-hood convertible, being followed by 50 humvees, each carrying 10 soldiers, I couldn't help but get that feeling when you know that everything you're doing is going to work -has to work- because of the mere force behind it. There is no way that those two people can outrun or outfight us. Nor can they hide from us. Ben's got his GPS tracking their every step, and to back that up, three, count them, three satellites are all positioned toward them, watching them as they head towards the cookie. I say this with absolute certainty. There is no way we can fail this mission. If only I could be sure that's a good thing.
