I spent the last 24 hours taking a variety of less-than-lethal weapons from our own era and bringing them to the lab. Einstein, quite the humanitarian, demanded that they be non lethal. He, meanwhile, went into Aleck's cell and freed him, taking him back to the lab as well. He is to use the machine that sends items back to the past, which has been revamped to work perfectly, with enough energy to send back the moon, if need be (that is, if he could fit it into the teleporter). Aleck wanted to be helping us by actually being there, with Ludwig at the helm, but Einstein preferred leaving Aleck here, mentioning something about orders 'to be completed after we are finished'. Aleck and I said farewell, and now we're approaching our, perhaps final, destination.
