A Surprise Emergency

There is a man about to leave a small town in Arizona and is heading for Phoenix...carrying an atomic bomb. Bob Simmons is no doubt behind all this, because all forms of communications to anywhere in Arizona have been cut off. (Bob appears to be more dangerous than originally thought). In other words, a nuclear bomb is heading toward Phoenix, and we can't get to it before it explodes, nor can we warn anyone who can. Is Phoenix doomed? Not quite. You see, I didn't destroy the time machine that I used. I figured it was worthless now anyway, since the worm hole had closed. However, I soon realized that I could still use it as a teleporter, moving from place to place. This will be incredible useful in the future...but to avoid getting side-tracked, I am now heading toward the road that the truck carrying the bomb is on. Aleck warned me that the suicide bomber will be alone, and will die rather than let me stop him, since he'll end up dying anyway. That makes him quite dangerous, but I can't let danger stop me. It never has before. 1,567,894 people are depending on me. I simply can't let them down.
