"Seems logical." Aleck nodded when I told him about the email idea. We three were sitting up in the rafters covered in blankets to keep from the cold. Jeremy had just returned and rushed to see how we were doing.
"I think I know when, as well." Jeremy confirmed with his piece of news, "I did a little covert spying, and discovered a text saying 'the email will arrive at the dawn of the new year. -Bob Simmons'."
Aleck and I nodded. Two more days.
"I'll call Vanderdecken." Aleck said, "he'll want to help in case Bob decides to bring backup."
"The message wasn't the most important part." Jeremy shook his head, "it's who sent it."
We both look at him quizzically.
"The message wasn't sent to Tad, it was sent to Gregory."
I looked at Aleck, he looked at me. "Fascinating." he said, " this just made it all the more interesting."
