Tad and Collin

Jeremy guarded for me while I chatted with Aleck on the roof for a while, "this roof is inherently slippery due to the snow on the roof." he said. Of course, we were fine, until we heard a loud "darn phone!" come from the other side of the roof. Aleck and I snuck up to the top and looked down at who else but Collin standing right on the other side, just two feet away from us. He looked down at us, er, me, since Aleck had already hidden behind the chimney, "what are you doing?" Collin asked.
"What are you doing?" I countered. (my interrogation skills are modeled after Vanderdecken's.  lol)
"Trying to get some reception for my phone. That cheap, pathetic phone." He needs the money alright. "How about you?"
"Just climbing around." I shrugged, and moved to get off the roof. When I got inside, who else was standing there with Jeremy but Tad. I jumped when I saw him.
"You scared of me?" he laughed sadly.
I began to shake my head.
"No of course not!" Jeremy said quickly, "how are you doing after your wife's death?"
"Hmm, oh, I'm really struggling. As you can see, my hair used to be black, but I've gone grey in just six months." I looked him over, and he really did look like his wife's death had aged on him greatly.
"Well, we're glad you could make it.." Jeremey smiled.
"Yes, so am I. It's so nice to be with family." he sighed.

"Hm, what do you think it is that's stalking you?" Jeremey asked.
I shrugged. Let's go try to decide why."
